About Us
Our Mission Statement
Ministry Campaign Services exists to serve the local church by helping it reach its God given vision through ministry expansion. Because we are ministry rather than profit driven, we are able to provide the highest quality service at a moderate cost.History
Ministry Campaign Services was started in 1997 by the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA), out of the conviction that the denomination could provide funding services to the local church.Through our intimate involvement with churches in several denominations throughout the country, we are able to bring a unique perspective to our work as well as an understanding of church cultures. Because we are ministry driven we are able to offer a wide range of professional services well below the industry's average. In addition, we bring years of fundraising experience and expertise with numerous local churches at various funding levels.
Philosophy/Spiritual Basis
Our conviction is that raising money in the local church is best accomplished when based upon a thoroughly Biblical perspective and centered around four focal points:1. A Clear Mission and Vision.
Ministry campaigns are not ultimately about bricks and mortar, debt reduction, land acquisition or special programs. In the final analysis, they are about expanding the Kingdom of God in a local community. In any funding effort, we want to help the local church clearly articulate its God given mission and vision for the future.
2. A Strong Prayer Focus.
It is God who provides the resources needed for a local church. It is God who unleashes necessary resources from his people. It is God who is able to take the loaves and fishes, multiply them through the participation of many and meet the need. We believe a strong prayer focus throughout the ministry campaign effort is essential to its success.
3. The Ingathering of Leadership Gifts.
Just as King David provided a leadership gift enabling Solomon to build the Old Testament temple, we believe those in leadership positions in the local church, and those whom God has given the ability to give larger leadership gifts should be invited to do so. These leadership gifts encourage the congregation that the financial goal is attainable.
4. The Wide Participation of the Body.
Using the example of equal sacrifice but not equal gifts, we believe successful campaigns are built on the wide participation of all members of the church body. God uses both small and large gifts to meet the ministry needs within the local church.
Central in all we do is the conviction that gifts made to further the work of the local church are "investments in eternity "(I Timothy 6:17-19). Through a ministry campaign, many experience the blessing of freely giving to God a portion of what he has so freely given to them.
