Process

A ministry campaign is a 36-month process starting with initial planning and ending when the campaign commitments are all received.

We are committed to walking with churches through this entire process. A snapshot of our services includes the following elements:

Financial Assessment

In the assessment, we help churches determine whether the church is ready to move ahead with a campaign, determine how much the church is likely to raise and determine the level of debt that is advisable for a maximum project size that is prudent. These factors, taken together, become the raw material with which the building committee begins its work.

Mission and Vision Clarification

The clear communication of values, mission and vision is critical to a successful ministry campaign. We offer comprehensive consulting to help in these areas. The strategic planning ministry consultation helps clarify the church's core values, the mission of the church and a picture of the preferred future of the congregation. This is an optional service and is included at no additional cost to congregations we serve.

Planning the Campaign

A ministry campaign is a process of putting together a complex puzzle including:

• Establishing necessary committees
  
• Working with the building committee
  
• Communicating vision and campaign information
  
• Planning a campaign schedule

We provide regular on-site visits, training and counsel to ensure that your campaign is a success.

Congregation-Wide Participation

The commitment phase of the campaign includes an invitation for those capable of leadership gifts to make their commitments, followed by the congregation at large. In all cases, the invitation and encouragement for participation at appropriate levels is gentle and made with sensitivity, trusting the Holy Spirit will give each participant wisdom in their decision.

Aftercare

Commitments are made over a thirty-six month period. We provide materials and counsel to encourage commitment follow-through. We also provide ways to incorporate new members of the church into the ministry campaign. Our work with the church is complete when campaign commitments are fulfilled.
