‘Thanks for Making Our New Worship Center a Reality’
“Our vision is to bring Jesus into every home in the Northeast corner of San Antonio, and we accomplish this by making disciples on mission for Christ,” said Eric Wilbur, global discipleship director and elder at the church. “Our strategy is simple: We worship together on the weekends, we pursue discipleship in groups, and we invest in others through service.”
Their previous worship center, which was decades old, seated just over 300 people. As the congregation grew, more space was needed to ensure that people didn’t have to sit in the lobby during the church’s worship services.
In 2017, the church “started down the path to construct a new worship center,” Wilbur continued. The church already had experience with CIF, in that CIF was the “mortgage holder on two buildings we financed in 2009,” Wilbur said.
The church decided to partner again with CIF on its new worship facility for two reasons.
“First, we had excellent experience with them on our current mortgage,” Wilbur said. “Second, they provided competitive rates and terms.”
In February of 2022, Northeast Bible Church held a grand opening for its new worship center. With a capacity of more than 700 people, the church has moved to just two services on Sunday and has space to grow.
“CIF is an exceptional finance institution that provided exceptional support to construct our new Worship Center,” Wilbur concluded. “They have an incredible team of professionals whose focus was the success of our project. We highly recommend them for financing any project for your church.”
